Passport valid for at least 6 months, with at least 3 blank pages (KAZA-eligible nationality — ~48 countries incl. US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, NZ)
USD 50 in cash (exact notes recommended — card payment unreliable at land borders)
Purchase on arrival at: Victoria Falls or Harare airports (Zimbabwe), Livingstone or Lusaka (Zambia), or the Victoria Falls / Kazungula land borders
Return or onward travel ticket
Proof of accommodation (lodge/hotel booking in either country)
Yellow fever certificate if arriving from an endemic country
Confirm sticker stock availability with your lodge or operator beforehand — smaller posts occasionally run out
