Oman Tourist e-Visafor 🌍 Armenia citizens travelling to 🇴🇲 Oman
Armenia citizens must apply for a Oman Tourist e-Visa online before travelling to Oman. Submit your application through the official government portal, upload the required documents, and pay the visa fee electronically. Approval is typically emailed within a few business days. You may stay up to 30 days per entry.
Armenian citizens do NOT have unconditional access to Oman. Both the 14-day visa-free exemption and the unsponsored tourist e-Visa are conditional: they are available only to travellers who also hold a valid visa or residence permit for the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan or a Schengen country, OR who are GCC residents in an eligible profession. Qualifying travellers may either enter visa-free for up to 14 days or apply online for the Oman tourist e-Visa (30-day single entry, extendable once for a further 30 days). Travellers without a qualifying visa/residence cannot obtain the tourist e-Visa independently and must arrange a sponsored visa. A passport valid 6+ months, an onward/return ticket, confirmed accommodation, health insurance and sufficient funds are required.

🌐Why Armenia passport holders need a visa for Oman

⚠️Common Reasons Oman Tourist e-Visa Applications Are Refused6
- !For conditional-list nationalities (e.g. Armenia, Azerbaijan): applying without holding a required qualifying visa or residence — a valid US, UK, Canadian, Australian, Japanese or Schengen visa/residence, or eligible GCC residence — which gates both the e-Visa and the 14-day visa-free exemption.
- !A passport valid for less than six months, or suspected of being fraudulent.
- !No onward/return ticket, confirmed accommodation, health insurance, or evidence of sufficient funds.
- !An e-Visa application whose photo or passport details fail the technical requirements, or details that do not match the passport.
- !An unclear purpose of visit, or signs of intended employment on a tourist entry.
- !A prior overstay or immigration violation in Oman; entry remains at the officer’s discretion.
Refusal grounds are at the discretion of the deciding officer and can change. This list is informational — always verify current requirements at the official government portal.
